Well, this is my first blog post here. I am really excited to show you this new journey that I am on. K'aynna has been a really big part of my life, but it is time for a change. I just think that era of me is gone. So many things happened to me and for me while dreaming as K'aynna. She brought me through. Although I am grateful for her, It's time to step forward into a new era. I'm living more authentically in my purpose now and I'm doing the work to heal my mind body and soul. Gemi (Pronounced Like Gimme) DaPhlo (Da-Flow) is a play on Give me the Floor. Like, give me the mic, I'm speaking now. It's my turn. Initially, the name was going to be Gemini The Phoenix. Number 1…..I'm a Gemini. Number 2….My mom always told me that I was a Phoenix because I always rose from the ashes. But of course there are 1 million artist's named Gemini and 50,00000000 artist's name Phoenix, so I decided to shorten it. Also, it meant two things.
